The restored version of the classic movie directed by Mohammadreza Aslani, will be screened at the 2020 edition of the event slated for December 3-6.

Starring the recently deceased actor, Mohammad-Ali Keshavarz, ‘The Chess Game of the Wind’ is about the decadence of a family in the Qajar dynasty.

The first lady of a noble house has died, and now there is a conflict between the heirs for taking over her heritage.

Inaugurated in 2011, the festival emphasizes the richness of Iranian cinema and Persian-speaking filmmakers around the world.

Persian-speaking films from around the world compete in three categories of Best Feature, Best Short, and Best Documentary.
